Dear friend,
If you are looking for an honest, profitable, no-nonsense affiliate
program that KNOWS how to treat affiliates right, then you've come to the
right place.
I've been doing business on the internet since 1999. One of the first
things that I used to do was market affiliate program. If you're new
to affiliate programs, it's simply a legal arrangement between you and
another company where you get a commission for business or leads that
you send to them.
I learned very quickly that MOST affiliate programs are not fair, and
quite frankly, rip way too many people off.
I promised myself that if I ever had my own affiliate program that I would
be generous with commissions, pay on time, let all my affiliates know
what is going on, and offer great support.
Here is what separates my affiliate program from 99% of the rest that
are out there:
1) I will NOT hype you with promises of making huge amounts of money.
Too many programs show you charts and graphs that if you sell 100 of
their product that you'll make 10,000 dollars a month.
Yet even a seasoned marketer would have challenges selling 100 of that
product.
The only thing I can promise you is that I have a product that people need,
want, and that it sells. How many you sell is entirely up to you and your
marketing efforts.
2. Most programs only pay you on the first-time sale or only give you
what's called a "session cookie.
Let me explain this one. You will find that a majority of affiliate
programs will only give you credit for the sale IF the visitor that
you sent them purchases right then and there.
If they come back to make a purchase, you usually won't get credit for
the sale. To me this is so unfair that it just makes me mad thinking about
it.
When you send us a visitor we track them for 3 whole years. So if that
visitor comes back to buy one of our products during the 3 years, you still
get credit for the sale.
3. Most companies only have one product and only pay you on the front-end,
even if they do have more than one product. This one also burns me. If you send us
a visitor and they purchase any of our future products, we will still
pay you the commission on that sale!
Most companies pay you a commission on the one product and then they send that
customer that you sent them other offers. Then they don't share that commission
with you.
We don't do that to our affiliates.
This is my logic. You either paid good money or spent time building up a system
to send us traffic. I now make a sale on our lead product, The Date Pro ebook.
Then that customer buys something else from us within the 3 year period, shouldn't I
share that commission with the affiliate who send me that customer? Exactly.
We are continually creating new products and testing them. We share all of
our back-end commissions with our affiliates.
4) Our commissions are generous. A couple years ago I wanted to
promote this fantastic relationship seminar that I had attended. I was
overjoyed when I found out the company had an affiliate program.
Then I found out they only paid a 10% commission. The seminar was over
$500. They would have pocketed $450, while I pocketed only $50. I gave them
a sale they would have not gotten and only 10%?
I tried negotiating a better deal, but the company would not have any of it.
I could have sent them truck loads of business. You won't find us paying
any wimpy 5 to 15% commissions.
Our commissions range from 40 to 75%! And that includes our back-end
products as well. We want you to make money and we want you to be proud
that you're representing an honest, ethical, and FAIR company.
5) We do our best to give you credit for any mail order sales.
A lot of companies will flat out tell you that they don't track mail
order sales. Before we accept any mail order, we email instructions to
the potential customer on how to send us their order via mail.
We make it a point for them to write down your affiliate ID number.
We also ask them to give us the referring web address. We do this because
we want to give you credit for the sale. (Please note that mail order
sales are less than 1% of our total sales).
6) We have both email and phone support for all affiliates.
Monday through Friday we are here to answer your questions and help you
out any way we can.
7) You also get paid commissions on any of our services. I also
offer email and live coaching to potential customers and existing customers.
If any of your referrals sign up for this service you get paid for it!
8) We do all the follow up so you don't have to. We follow up with
all visitors and all customers. This increases the chances of them ordering
something from us in the future.
We handle all refunds, ordering issues, and customer service so you don't have to.
Your referrals that sign up for our mailing list will receive some great content,
articles, discounts, special promotions, and professional written sales letters.
I've been doing sales and marketing for over a decade. These follow up emails
are of high quality and comply with all state and federal regulations.
So there you have it, TheDatePro.com Affiliate program. I created this affiliate
program with two goals in mind:
1) To be fair and honest.
2) To not have 100,000 affiliates, but just a few good ones.
Most affiliate programs allow anyone to sign up. We don't. With
the laws the way they are these days we just don't want anyone
to sign up. We want to get to know you first.
We also want you to get to know us.
I'm looking for a few, serious, professionals that see value in our
products / services and would like to establish a working relationship together.
Side note: We do not pay commissions on your own purchases, so if
you are looking to get a discount that way, don't even bother.
It really doesn't matter to me if you get 5 visitors a day or 10,000.
What I'm looking for are honest, ethical people that will give our
affiliate program an honest try.
If you are interested and would like to know more, then let's talk.
Send us an email at:
aff@thedatepro.com
We'll make arrangements to talk on the phone or talk in one of our web
conference rooms.
I look forward to meeting you,
Rod
